BIG Family Gathering, Part 1 |Puyallup Family Photographer

Four Families
10 Grandchildren
Definitely two blog posts!
These families don't live in the same state, so gathering together is a momentuous occasion!
I think you can tell through these pictures that they ALL enjoyed getting to play with their cousins.

I've photographed these sisters before, but never as a group of three.  Let me introduce Big Sister E, Middle Sister C and Baby Miss G. :)    Mr. G took a long time to warm up but he has such a cute smile it was worth it!

Aren't they cute twins?  Whoops, I mean cousins??  And Mr. H, the man of the group.  He so bravely gave me his baseball pose.

Ahhh, the whole group of nine!  Even the baby was happy!
The Amazing Group of Grandchildren!

Little Miss C, she likes me, but doesn't want to smile. :)

Just wait to see what happened with the parents got involved!
Party Two, whoops, Part Two will be coming soon!

{Mr. + Mrs. M} Tacoma Relationship Photography

One of my passions is capturing the relationships between people.  When I went to Imaging USA in January I got to listen to many great photographers describe exactly what is deep in my heart.  For couples to spend some time focusing on just them, no jobs, no pressures, no kids, no other interests and really rejoice in the spouse and friend God has given them.  For people to react naturally and capture it with the camera.  To balance posed and unposed images.  To create such a good flow of poses that people don't feel like they're even being posed!  There were many ideas I needed to get out of my head and the stick figures on my paper and get them into an image.  These images are a collaboration of efforts: my ideas, my friends' willingness to go with me on a cold, rainy night , and my husband's generous help with the equipment and flash!
So here is my practice session at capturing relationships.  Not a wedding or an engagement but an established couple with plenty of life behind and also ahead of them.
Congratulations on 10 years Mr. & Mrs. M!
