Growing Up| The U Family| Spokane Family Portraits

I'll admit that I'm biased...  This is my favorite family to take pictures of!!

But when they're this cute, can you blame me???  They are not only a great family with looks that are easy on the eyes and camera, they are fantastic location scouts.
They found all the locations used this sunny Sunday afternoon.  We started at Maryhill Center in Spokane, WA.  It is frequently used for senior portraits and I couldn't resist the chance to do one with my nephews....

From there they took me to a great loading dock in downtown Spokane.  This family loves to skateboard, specifically longboard, together.  Naturally they already had several boards in the van and we pulled a few out to play on...

Doesn't it look like fun???

If they look a little familiar, they should.

D & R are the couple featured in my blog header up there from last year's Trash the Dress session.  Really, they're such a cute couple I can't stand it and wish I could work with them all the time.  Too bad we live 300 miles apart!

My nephews were a little smiled-out at this point.   Luckily I keep some secrets up my sleeve....

Have a great summer guys!  I'm so glad we got a chance to do this!

Women of All Ages | Puyallup Child Portraits

What a great group of ladies!  Mama B's little girls have birthdays very close to each other and naturally they were due for some portraits.  Let's just do it all at once!  And bring Grandma C too!  We took a short little walk through the South Hill Park's trail, found some beautiful shade and began playing around.
Little Miss A (below with Mama B) was a great little ham.  She was determined to be mobile and also show off those cute toothies.
Little Miss M (a little further below) loved to see the back of the camera more than the front.  But she definitely had fun when we broke out the fairy wings and lollipops.
Mama B - thanks for letting me capture the girls at these ages!  They're just precious!

Grandma C ended up in more pictures than she planned on, but look at the glow these two give each other!

Introducing: Little Man G | Orting Newborn Photographer

Introducing Little Man G!
This sweet little guy joined a family who was VERY excited for his arrival!

This sweet mama brought me in to take maternity pictures and then gave them as a gift to her husband for Father's Day.
She had to give him the book a few days early because she was getting more frequent contractions.  But Little Man G stayed put until just the right time.  He arrived almost three weeks ago, but he still slept for me this lovely morning....

And then the little man got hungry....

He's such a sweet heart and the spitting image of his brother!
Congratulations S Family!!  And may Little Man G have a great first year!
